Description

Eskom is offering two Graduate in Training (Retail) positions within the Retail Department of the Ops Enablement Business Unit. The programme aims to develop graduates in customer service, service delivery, and operational support across specified geographical areas. Graduates will gain hands-on experience in billing, metering, credit management, customer relationship management, and low-voltage system operations, while developing leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills. The programme emphasizes professionalism, integrity, and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Handle generic service activities and provide accurate customer data
• Process quotations, connections, vending, and prepaid activities
• Build and maintain strong relationships between Eskom and customers
• Apply customer service knowledge and operational skills to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Qualifications

• Degree & Eligibility: Fully completed BCom degree in Economics, Finance, Data Science, Accounting, Marketing, or Statistics; must be a South African citizen
• Customer Service & Knowledge: Understanding of customer relationship management, billing, metering, credit management, SPU/prepaid tariffs, and low-voltage systems
• Professional Traits: Integrity, honesty, professionalism, trustworthiness, efficiency, and ability to build strong customer relationships
• Skills & Teamwork: Leadership, teamwork, coaching, mentoring, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, computer literacy, stress management, and multilingual abilities
